Holiday in the Square
The Holiday in the Square was a success, thanks to the contribution of many volunteers.
The night was perfect for pictures with Santa, ornament making, singing and dancing and of course, some holiday shopping.
Make sure you take a look at our beautiful Central Square tree as it lights up every night! I would like to say Thank You to all those involved in putting the event together and I wish everyone and their families a wonderful holiday season.
This event was generously sponsored by the Daily Item and funded by Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy and Community Development through the Community Development Block Grant Program. LynnArts is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. The Holiday in the Square event is created by LynnArts, with help from the Daily Item, Columbia Insurance, Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, the Lynn Museum, RAW Art Works, Lynn Department of Public Works, Lynn Police Department, John’s Oil, Lynn Housing Authority and the Office of Mayor Judith Flanagan. And a thank you also to volunteers: Lynn City Marching Band, Nadine Mitchell, Ruby Martinez, Dorothy Thibodeau, our event photographer Owen O`Rourke, and Patrick Runne of BedRock Music.
Take a look at some of the fun we had!
