Children’s Classes
LYNNARTS EXPLORATION PROGRAM 2013
Art explorers will experience a broad range of visual and performing art forms through hands-on-activities and discussions. Each week is designed to encourage creativity with projects that relate to broad, contextual themes. Visual arts activities may include painting, multimedia, sculpture, print-making and more. In performing arts classes, explorers discover new forms of expression through movement, acting, script-writing and story-telling. On the last day of class, friends and family are encouraged to support their budding artists by visiting their self-curated exhibit and performance! Performance, exhibition and reception at 2:30 on Fridays.
AVAILABLE SUMMER PROGRAMS
Ages 6-12, 9 AM– 3 PM, Monday-Friday
$175 for the first week/ $150 for each additional week
Each child must bring a snack and lunch. We are a PEANUT-FREE environment

REGISTER BY JULY 1st
WEEK 1: July 8 -12 — Adventures in Art-Students will create artwork inspired by the greats; Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keeffe, Salvador Dali and others.
WEEK 2: July 15-19 —Express Yourself– Using various mediums, each day the students will convey moods and life experiences into their artwork, as many famous artists have done.
REGISTER BY JULY 29th
WEEK 3: August 5-9 — Tiny Treasures – Students will experiment with collage, printmaking and painting to create artist trading cards, postcard art and other mini masterpieces. Make art, make friends, create and trade if you would like!
WEEK 4: August 12-16 —It’s a Jungle Out there! – This is our popular installation week; kids participate in creating their very own gallery exhibit, which remains up for the year! We will be transforming the children’s gallery into a life-like jungle space with tigers, toucans, beautiful foliage and more!
